We used to just have a tub and a wimpy little wall. Our bathroom was sad.

Passion for Plumbing
He scored an old faucet that we found in the garage. He took it apart to figure it out.
I sacrificed my favorite tupperware for his sink, but his smile made it totally worth it! The yellow sprayer and the drain actually worked.
Plumbing is his new passion. No joke: he wants a toilet for Christmas, or at least "the parts that make it flush."
Front Yard
Here are some before and after pics of our front yard re-do. We had to tear out our old planter boxes. They were about a billion years old and they were falling apart. Thankfully Mom and Glen came up to help, because it turned out to be a way bigger job than we thought it would be. They literally moved a mountain of dirt out of those things. That was back in July, and today we finally put the rocks in. I think they look fine-- kind of wish we went darker, but definitely less maintenance than the bushes. By the way, Lance found the rock yard to be awesome, and he will be running that place one day. Tractors, dump trucks AND rocks of all shape, size and color. His idea of a glorious time!
