Utah Trip

Birthday Boy

We celebrated Luke's 6th birthday at Temple Square, where we enjoyed both the temple AND the sprinkler systems. If you need to know where any of the shut-off valves are, ask Luke.

Afterwards, we headed to Nana and Papa's, where we had a great party and the funnest week we've had in a long time!

Glen & Luke's Project

The excitement over this sprinkler project got Luke up before 7 each day, and also increased his love for Teflon tape in a big way.

Nolte Reunion in San Diego

Grandma Nolte's 90th birthday brought us all together in San Diego!

Lance's (early) Birthday

After many a celebration for Luke's birthday this summer, Lance finally got his turn!

We celebrated with family at Aunt Jamie's house on the last day of our San Diego trip. On top of cake and swimming, he received the gift of all gifts: A Lego Francesco (from Cars 2), which cousin Bret and Luke assembled for him.

When the boys are away...

The boys went to their first annual church father/son campout last weekend. They had a blast. Luke loved setting up the tent and making the fire; Lance loved eating marshmallows for dinner, dessert, and probably breakfast the next morning. I decided I better seize the time alone and head to the most little-boy-unfriendly place I could think of: HomeGoods. One throw pillow led to another, and I ended up redecorating my bedroom.

100 Days of School

This is Luke's project for the "100th Day of School" party tomorrow. He's supposed to bring 100 of something...
the little piece of paper says "100 pieces of cereal."
He's super excited to eat 100 foods and receive his "100 Days Smarter" certificate. So cute!
