FIVE!

Luke is 5! I can't believe we have a five year old... five is big. For awhile it seemed like everyone else's kids were growing up a lot faster than mine, but not anymore. Time seems to be speeding along, and it feels so surreal that I have a boy that will be in kindergarten in a month! ... anyway,

all of his birthday wishes came true: he received the toolbox of his dreams and lots to stock it with. His bedroom is a miniature version of Home Depot. He's happy.

I felt really weird gift wrapping wire nuts and 100 feet of speaker wire-- has that stuff ever been gift wrapped before?-- but it felt so right seeing his happy smile as he opened them.
