We used to just have a tub and a wimpy little wall. Our bathroom was sad.

Then Matt came in and changed all that. All by himself. He put a sketch of L&L on his proudly built wall, and Luke signed his name. Then he added a sparkly fresh shower.
... and now the bathroom is happy.

WOW! go MATT!
if we DO make it out there we will for sure come and see you. not sure if it will happen with his new job starting. next year for sure.
ok you have one talented family- matt who is bob the builder- luke who is the plumber, unbelievable...lance who is a wall climber and a fun little bro, and you who takes care of them all! love it!
why did your husband get the "do it yourself gene" and mine got the "let's hire someone" gene. !! :)
To answer Aimee's question about the "do it yourself gene" vs. the "hire someone else" gene: the "do it yourself gene" does not exist in the Nolte phylogeny; after long and exhaustive study (none of it hands-on, of course) it was concluded that Matt is a mutant. That's right, the "do it yourself" gene was a fresh mutation that occurred while Matt was in utero. It remains to be seen if such a mutant will be "selected for." I'm assuming yes. Disclaimer: One dissenting scientist asserted that indeed the "do it yourself" gene does indeed exist in the Nolte family, brought in by the Nothum ancestors. However, for those of you up on your Punnet Squares, I should note that there is was only a 25% chance that any of us received the gene (lucky you, Matt!) b/c in order for it to be manifested the carrier must be homozygous recessive! Quiz, this post was written by A) Mark, or B) Emily?
Post Script: Matt, the shower looks awesome! Amazed. Really. Markas.
