Luke has added a coffee maker and a wall-mounted blow dryer to his Christmas list. Thank you Holiday Inn! The bed picture was taken after we arrived at about 1:30 a.m. They were so excited to be there they didn't fall asleep until 2:30. Yeesh.
We visited with John and Aimee's family on Friday night and had a ball. The kids were having fun wearing Matt's shirt and imitating him. I wish we lived closer-- L&L love their cousins.
We had lots of fun visiting family. We got to go to the San Diego Zoo with my dad, see Trent play baseball, and I got to take Crinny on a special shopping trip. She taught me all about Webkins. They are serious business. Luckily, the timing of our visit worked out so that Matt and I got to see baby Nolen in the hospital the day after he was born. He could not be any cuter!
These pictures were taken at Old Poway Park, Webb Park, and the giant rock by the Summerfield swimming pool. I took L&L to Summerfield (the neighborhood where I grew up) one morning and they had a blast walking around and climbing the big rock. Luke even discovered and sat in the little divot on the top of the rock-- which my behind used to sit in, like 25+ years ago! Also, the stairs that Luke's sitting on were part of my route to the bus stop for elementary and middle school. Tons of nostalgia.
This morning I asked Luke if he was excited to see you guys, and he said. "YES." He went on to say that he remembers that you have a guitar with a cord on it. He is really excited to play Guitar Hero with you, or maybe just scope out the guitar!
Errands, cleaning, haircuts for Luke and I, packing for next week, AND:
Sorry, Matt! Celebrity Apprentice starts on Sunday night and I will be watching. Matt is not a fan of The Donald, to put it mildly. Have a great weekend, everyone!
